Wednesday Morning Swindle

 

The Wednesday Morning Swindle, an informal Stableford Roll-Up, started in 1995 with 3 to 4 players who had recently retired. As more club members retired the numbers increased to around 8 or 9 within the year.

More members have retired and joined in with the result that within the last few years our numbers have gone up to 20+. We even have a lady member who joins us occasionally. Some of the "working class" on their day off also come along. During the summer months it is not unusual to have 14-16 on the tee throwing their balls up, to see who plays with who.
